Linda, President of Silver Oak Wealth Advisors, has been providing Silver Oak clients with comprehensive wealth management services since 2005 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm. In her role as advisor, Linda works closely with each client to develop a customized financial plan centered on their core values. Linda consults on wealth protection, enhancement and transfer issues and designs an investment portfolio that reflects each client’s unique risk profile and financial needs.
In addition to her strong analytical skills and financial knowledge, Linda brings with her a deep and genuine interest in helping clients to achieve a balanced and fulfilled life with the resources they have. She strives to support and inspire her clients to make sound financial decisions by infusing their life dreams, goals and purpose into their spending, investments, risk management, and estate plans. Before joining Silver Oak Wealth Advisors, LLC, Linda worked for four years in Beijing, China and six years in Connecticut at Fortune 500 companies as a business analyst. Linda received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University and her MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She is a licensed Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner. Linda has also completed the Seven Stages of Money Maturity training offered by the Kinder Institute of Life Planning and the study of CDFA (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst) by Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts. She actively hosts Women’s Circle to “change the conversation” about personal finance for women and participates in advisory communities to empower, educate, and engage women in the management of their personal finance. She also serves as Ambassador for L.A. Chapter of Modern Widows Club, a non-profit organization to empower widows to lean into life, build resilience and make a positive difference in the world. Linda lives in West Los Angeles with her family and enjoys reading, yoga & meditation practice, traveling and social activities with family and friends.

Eric is one of the early pioneers of the Financial Planning profession. Always passionate about understanding and integrating the personal side of money into the advisory relationship, he developed his first Financial Plan for a client in 1981. In 1984, he became a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) with the SEC, and received his CFP® designation in 1988. Eric has always held with pride his fiduciary, or “always client’s interests first,” standard of care with every client. As a principal founder of his former firm, Eric was selected by Wealth Manager Magazine as one of the Top 250 Planners in the U.S. for three years in a row and was a four-time presenter at the L.A. Times Investment Strategies Conferences. He has been quoted widely in local and national publications and was featured in a cover article in the May 2012 Financial Planning Magazine. In 2016, he, along with the other Silver Oak firm Principals, achieved the CeFT® (Certified Financial Transitionist®) designation in furtherance of the firm’s commitment to providing contextual guidance to clients going through a life transition and where financial decision-making ability is compromised. Eric is the former President of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Los Angeles, and created and presented in consecutive years sessions on leadership at the FPA Chapter Leadership Conference. He also serves on the Advisory Council of OPICA, a non-profit which provides day relief to family caregivers with loved ones suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s. Eric lives on the Westside of Los Angeles with his wife of 26 years. Their two children are off at college, while their two dogs (Lucy and Rocco) keep them company at home.
Founder, CFP®, CPA/PFS, CeFT®
As a CPA specializing in financial planning, Joel Framson brings analytical and retirement planning skills for attorneys and business owners acquired during his 30 years of practice. He earned a Masters of Tax degree from USC, is a CFP® practitioner, and also earned the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential from the AICPA. Joel founded the company and designed it to be a client’s thought partner in all aspects of their financial affairs. Joel has been named by Worth Magazine as being among the Top 100 Wealth Advisors in the nation, has been quoted extensively in financial periodicals, and has had the honor of being national Chair of the Personal Financial Planning Executive Committee for the American Institute of CPAs. Joel co-authored with Eric Bruck the chapter on retirement planning for attorneys in a recent book by author Ed Poll, titled “Life After The Law: What Will You Do With Your Next 6000 Days?”. Joel is married with three adult children. His hobbies and passions range between wine and food events, photography, scuba diving, and the exploration of other cultures through travel. Joel is an Eagle Scout and has been a Western Los Angeles Region board member.
Wealth Manager, CFP®
Arianne joined Silver Oak in 2015. In her current role as Wealth Manager, she advises on all aspects of financial planning and wealth management implementation, including complex analysis of corporate compensation and benefits. Additionally, she is a member of the Investment Committee and is active in all aspects for the management of the investment portfolios at Silver Oak.
Before joining Silver Oak Wealth Advisors, Arianne was based in Milan, Italy for 20+ years where she developed her career as Investor Relations Manager, working for several different types of financial and investment firms. In her last position, she was a Partner in a Private Equity Secondary Fund of Funds, managing funds for high net worth individuals. Upon her return to the United States (2013), she completed a certificate program at UCLA Extension in Personal Financial Planning, culminating with passing the CFP Exam. She received her BS from UC San Diego in Management Science and her MBA from the Bocconi University in Milan. She has been active philanthropically dedicating significant time and resources to School on Wheels, a not-for-profit organization tutoring homeless children on Skid Row, for which she has received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for three years. Arianne is a member of Everychild Foundation, a women’s giving circle with the goal of easing children’s’ suffering in Greater Los Angeles, as well as an active participant in the Policy & Activism Committee. Arianne lives in West Los Angeles where she pursues her passion for theatre, art, and photography as well as golf, running and hiking.
Thomas joined Silver Oak Wealth Advisors in July 2015, as our Operations Specialist. He is responsible for Operations, which includes Portfolio Administration, Trading, Billing, Back-office Support, Client Relations and Compliance. He brings over 14 years of experience in financial services and working with wealth management firms. Previously, he was the Operations Associate at KAM Advisors in Beverly Hills for five years and handled various operational and administrative duties. Prior to that, he had worked for Abrams, Factor & Associates in Beverly Hills for six years in the same role. He graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Thomas is a life-long Angeleno, having grown up, gone to school, and worked in West Los Angeles most of his life.
Client Service Associate
Nubia joined Silver Oak in 2015 as the company’s Administrative Assistant. Since then her role has evolved to Client Services Associate and Notary Public. She is Silver Oak’s “go to” person, handling client services, office management, operational support, marketing support, and administrative support. Her positive and energetic demeanor gives all who visit Silver Oak a memorable experience. Before joining Silver Oak Wealth Advisors, Nubia served as the Administrative Assistant/Operational Floor Manager for Regus, the world’s largest provider of short-term office space solutions. Nubia earned a Bachelors’ Degree of Science in Criminal Justice from Westwood College Los Angeles in 2010, where she was awarded the Student of the Term Award for academic excellence. Furthermore, Nubia loves communicating with and helping others. She is fluent in Spanish and very knowledgeable in elementary ASL (American Sign Language). Nubia lives in Santa Monica where she enjoys her proximity to the ocean, in addition to hiking, swimming, and other outdoor activities. Her greatest joys are her two children that are the apple of her eye.
