Laura joined Silver Oak in 2018. As a Lead Wealth Advisor, Laura helps clients navigate life’s financial transitions through financial planning, implementation follow-through, and portfolio management. She combines strong analytical skills with a passion for supporting people in improving their financial well-being, while also embracing her most important roles as a mom and spouse.

Her career began in Bogota, Colombia, where she served as an Adjunct Professor teaching Systems Thinking at Organizations, and worked as director and trader in the oil and gas industry. She holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia..

Laura lives in Century City and enjoys yoga, music, travel, family time, and volunteering with non-profit organizations that support children in need in developing countries.
